Children living around here hurried past the farm because of the smell running away covering their noses and mouths with their hands.

Mr. Fukunaga is managing the livestock farm for cattle breeding in Amakusa County, Kumamoto Prefecture. The compost for which he had difficulty in processing has become a mountain of valuable treasure.

In the barn, we saw a heap of the compost beginning fermentation. Of course, as Mr. Fukunaga stated, there was no odor at all. Moreover, after beginning the use of NeuG7, fermentation temperature inside the compost rose up to 83 ℃ (182 °F) although it normally rose only up to about 60 ℃ (140 °F) in the prior to the NeuG7 being used. Since larvae and bacteria become extinct in that high temperature, his compost can now be shipped as odorless compost of high quality. His compost is greatly demanded by the vegetable & fruit farmers in the neighborhood and it has become one of the segments of profit. He annually exhibited his compost at the compost contest of Kumamoto Prefecture and it has regularly been awarded within the Top 10 compost.

 

 

 

Shortening of the period for raising cattle to sale weight and increase in reproductive cycles

Shortening the period for breeding and raising cattle greatly affects the cost. After the introduction of NeuG7 into Fukunaga Livestock Farm, the period for raising cattle came to average two months LESS.  With just basic food stock costing him several hundreds of thousand Japanese Yen (more than 5,000 US Dollars) per month, shortening of the period for raising cattle is significantly increasing the annual profit.
